 Martin Fröst is one of the most thrilling and charismatic artists in our time. He is an often seen guest at the most respected venues, where he plays with the leading ensembles. He has appeared at the Royal Albert Hall Proms in London, the London Mostly Mozart Festival and with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Fröst is a regular guest at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Vienna Konzertverein. He has been reinvited to the Salzburg Mozartwoche, toured in Japan and is scheduled for a New York Philharmonic debut. Martin Fröst is a keeper of traditions as well as a trend setter. His ambition to challenge the borders of artistic creativity is an inspiration for many a composer. He is a popular Artist in Residence, in which position he offers his broad panorama as instrumentalist, conductor and renewer of the art form. Martin is the Artistic Director of Vinterfest and from this year he also takes the same position at the Stavanger Chamber Music Festival in Norway.
